Sakhi’s work to end violence against women starts with our creative and dedicated staff members who come from diverse backgrounds including, law, social work, finance, management and international development.  Listed below are current open position(s).

Sakhi offers semester-based and yearly internships in each of its program areas, depending on need and capacity. Interns typically work on a specific project within the program, in addition to assisting with the program area’s scope and ongoing activities. Sakhi can offer school credit if such a possibility exists.  We request a minimum of a 3-month commitment for internships.  

In order to apply for an internship, please fill out an intern application and email along with a resume to And a staff member will follow up to schedule an interview.


Before volunteering with Sakhi, attendance at a quarterly volunteer training is required where we provide an overview of our work and programs, domestic violence 101, and ways to get involved. To volunteer, there is no need to submit an application.
