Sakhi organizes and participates in a range of community events including parades (like the India and Pakistan Day parades), fairs (or melas), workshops, and film screenings. These outreach events call on the South Asian community to get involved in different ways and to lead the movement to end violence against women and abuse in the home. Also, we host fundraising events throughout the year, which showcase interesting programs, entertainment, and opportunities to mingle and get to know Sakhi staff, board, volunteers, and other supporters!
